Carded

As times goes by, I think the chance of me being carded will be less and less. So, I have decided to do something really stupid - I will blog every time when I get carded. (gosh... I'm really aging, ain't I?!)

So, while, during the day, I was asked if I were going on a trip with my husband (where on earth did that girl get the idea that I am married?!?!?), I was carded when I went to buy a Mark 6 ticket tonight.

I wonder why such a drastic difference? I guess it must be the way I dressed.

Anyway, it looked like Mum was enjoying it much more when I was asked for my ID.

  7. i feel uber flattered when i was buying tickets to "lust, caution" couple of days ago. and it was only R18. but other times, i got questions like, "how old is your child?" i almost punched that person and kicked his nuts.

  9. cr: :)

i never got carded at theatres though, even when i went to watch "happy together" back in akl, and i was actually underage. i guess they were just being lenient.

it's just really weird how different ppl perceive us - some think we're like kids, some married women (w/ kids!)... but i suppose that has to do with how we're dressed?

as aulie said, it's easier to be mistaken by foreigners. but in hk wor... (oops! that sounded inchy.. hehe) and a lot of the times (of coz, that's happened quite recently. pointless to say that it happened years ago), not sure if my mum's friends were trying to flatter HER, they actually asked my mum when will i be graduating from high school. orz....
