The tabby is so beautiful! Even the articulate traditional tiles on these Portuguese houses cannot undermine its natural beauty. And the window is a natural frame, such smart work of the photographer.
Back to Lisboa, so how do you like the capital of the neighbour of your new favorite European country? I think, due to our lack of preparation, the trip to Lisboa was very dull. And the worst mistake was that we spent the weekend there where people seemed to have evaporated totally from the city. And we missed out taking the train all the way up to the hill to see the palace because *someone* said it's too far. Oh well. The walking trip in the little neighbourhood of Alfama was probably the most intriguing thing that we did. Walking in the maze of small alleys, looking at amazing houses...
And the tiles... mesmerising, aren't they?
