Lausanne was the first stop of our Switzerland road trip, and we spent a few more days here than elsewhere because we were there visiting my dad's friend. She is really a beautiful city, so serene yet lively at the same time. The lake was an absolute beauty, it must have been even more so in the winter with the snowy Alps in the background. Lucky you. :)
