Miserably Cloudy.24C
I've finished watching four and a quarter episodes of The 4400 straight after the daily post-dinner stroll last night. It's unstoppable! But, I have to admit there were some parts that I found quite boring, and had to forward past them.
It was based on a very interesting idea. The first season seemed to be quite complete on its own, but with an ending (look how those trees bend towards the card when it swooped past? Lily is about to deliver the baby, and Richard is taking her to the hospital. The baby is important!!) like that and some loose ends, it certainly will attract past viewers to come back for an answer. I haven't read any review on the second season yet, because I don't want to read any spoiler. If the story turns out well, people may stay for the complete season and yearn for the next; if not, well, at least they'll get some "returnees" for the first few episodes of the new season.
I suppose the whole "abduction" thing has no evil intention, but things never really go as planned, especially when it involves human beings, and in this case, such a big number - 4400 and others! In the last episode, I could already see something is going wrong.
Can't wait till next Monday (that means I'll have to wait longer because I'll be away) and I really hope that it'll be another good season!
4-1/2 episodes?? What time did you go to bed? My dad is also hooked to 4400.
ReplyDeleteI'm still on CSI:Miami, season 2 now...
Sandee: 4 1/4... yes, because the first episode was actually very long compared to the others, almost double in length, and i was trying to watch it before i got to work, etc. :P
ReplyDeletei think i went to bed at around 1am, started at about 9pm.
Your dad is on 2nd season now?
oh btw, where did you go in china? had fun? :)
Nope, my dad still on season 1...haha
ReplyDeleteChina was fun except for squatting toliets and men who pick their nose in the public!
i think that's always the problem with China... and they have brought their "good" habits with them when they travel around the world, too.
ReplyDeletethe other night when i was strolling with mum in the racecourse (we take the inner track, which was for people :P), there was this big group of chinese walking in front of us. and when we walked past where they just had, i saw that there was 飛劍 on the track!!!
Gross!!
ReplyDeleteThere were these 2 men in our hotel lobby. With both legs up on the sofa, they started caressing and rubbing their toes!!!
Why does most men in China all seem to have itchy feet?
haha. but Xmas is coming up, let's think about more pleasant things...
